How to Change a Forklift Battery to 12Volts

Expanding the voltage of the battery supply will expand the top speed of your forklift. Instructions

  1. Turn off the forklift, then remove the key to guarantee that it isn't unintentionally turned on throughout the modification procedure.
  2. Unscrew the forklift driver's seat, then lift it like a champ to increase access to the battery compartment. Separate the negative wire from the battery by unscrewing the connector.
  3. Strip 1/2 inch from both finishes of the supplemental wire, then associate it between the negative terminal of the definitive battery and the positive terminal of the battery being included.
  4. Place the new battery in the battery compartment, then join the positive wire heading from the forklift to the positive terminal of the extra battery. Tighten every last trace of the wire connectors with a protected screwdriver.
  5. Shut the battery compartment by flipping the driver's seat back up, then secure it with the screwdriver.
